IIBCC 2012 Excellence Award: Sustainability of Fiber Cement

In 2012 the Excellence Award will be presented to the most outstanding research or development contribution advancing the sustainability of fiber cement.

Papers applying for this award should present research or development work

• evidencing the sustainability of fiber cement
• suggesting means to improve the sustainability of fiber cement product(s).

The research or development should contribute to a positive ecological image of the fiber cement products and industry.

Topics may relate to raw materials, product formulations, production process, durability, recycling and applications of fiber cement products (for instant in low energy housing), etc.

Eligibility to compete for the award is limited to academic research institutions and academic research institutes only.
