Things to do outside the conference

Shopping and amenities

The ANU is about 10 minutes walk from the Canberra Centre with shopping, good dining and entertainment

The ANU Students Union also has limited shopping and restaurants within sight of the Manning Clark Centre, the conference venue.

Live Theatre

The Canberra Theatre is also very close to the Canberra Centre and has live theatre and dance. During the conference week the theatre has performances by Bangara Dance Group an Australian Aboriginal Dance Group.
